黄开勋的个人简介
1958年生，现任华中科技大学化学与化工系主任、博士生导师，国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。1982年1月武汉大学化学系获学士学位；1987年6月和1995年6月华中理工大学化学系和生物系获硕士和博士学位。1992年8月-1993年8月在丹麦Roskilde大学生命科学与化学学院合作研究；2000年10月-12月在意大利Padova大学生物化学系高级访问学者；2001年12月-2002年6月在英国Surrey大学生物医学与生命科学学院高级访问学者。社会兼职主要有

科学研究与开发
主要研究方向：①硒与活性氮（RNS）在血管疾病、糖尿病发生发展中的作用及其机理；②无机纳米材料的合成与生物安全性研究；③新药制剂及功能食品的研究与开发。
目前主持在研项目：⑴国家自然科学基金（20671037）：硒和活性氮对胰岛素信号传导系统的调控作用及机理；⑵973项目子课题（2006CB705606A）：纳米材料TiO2安全性解决方案的探索；⑶益联医药有限公司（境外合成课题）：降钙素口腔喷雾剂的临床前研究。
